The FacePlace

Recently I took a trip back in time. I was 34 years old and I was excited to go back to camp again.



It was there I realized that the FacePlace has led me back on this journey. I found out about a 60 year camp reunion through The FacePlace and my addiction to the FacePlace brought my memories pouring out.

Back in New Hampshire at Camp Robindel I reconnected through smells and sounds that were a part of my childhood and it was magic to be there with my friends.

Now that I am home the FacePlace is my new place to share both my memories and keep up with friends.

Where will the FacePlace send me next?

Movie for Schmucks

I have been excited to see this movie. I got some friends together and we went to a great venue to see this flick. You get Dinner at the Movie....I enjoyed my dinner not the movie.

When you get at a point in a movie where you have to leave the theater you know it is time to call and get a refund.

Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd are terrific actors with strong resumes of hit comedies, so I was surprised at how bad the movie was.

The story was strangely adapted from its French Counterpart Le Dîner de Cons by Francis Veber.

The cast was fresh and tenured but were no where to be found until the final 30 minutes.

Some of the best lines of the movie came from the supporting cast and were off the cuff comments and remarks.

I know the last minute change to the title is only to help push ticket sales but don't be fooled I never heard the word SCHMUCK in the whole movie. But it was filled with lots of them.

I feel it is my obligation to take a stab at writing a film to accompany a terrific title. I have had plenty of Dinners with Schmucks.

Directors, Producers, and Actors wanted!!

Green Beach

Watching the destruction of the Gulf and the surrounding beaches and wildlife is insane.

I suspect that not enough of you realize the difference you can make. Green Beaches start without OIL.

The fact that OIL is the villain in this battle and not the government or the OIL industry makes me realize that I am guilty too.

Where the hell is my car that runs on AIR. Are they not smart enough to use the wind power in an Engine?? Solar power Vehicle to hard to build?? Wind Power and Solar Power street lights on remote and desolate highways is totally out of this realm??

Renewable resources....I thought they said something about that in the 3rd grade.

Call me for a full briefing....and let's revolutionize the industry dependent on Oil.

Glee Season 1 Wrap Up

Quinn and Puck's baby's name is BETH.

The last song of the season was from The Wizard of Oz written by L. Frank Baum.

L. Frank Baum and I share the same birthday.

The Wizard of Oz is based in Kansas.

I am in Kansas.

I always feel like someone is watching me...

Free Turn Signals

Turn signals were added to vehicles in the late 1930's and I know more than half of you haven't realized what this device does.

It is free to use!! You don't have to pay anything to use it.

It is required on the State and Federal Driver's Exams.

Lastly, the signal is meant for all other drivers to know where your going and what your doing.

The car also comes standard with a horn!!
